Trailers | MST3K Turkey Day 2018, Toronto Santa Claus Parade 2018

Mystery Science Theater 3000’s annual Turkey Day linear stream begins Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Shout! Factory TV Live and on Shout! Factory TV’s Twitch channel. On Turkey Day proper – American Thanksgiving, November 22, 2018 – Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Gauntlet has movie sign on Netflix. MST3K: The Gauntlet is the entire twelfth season of the show, the second since its Netflix revival in April 2017 and its second under Shout! Factory ownership.

Given this is MST3K’s thirtieth anniversary, MST3K linear streams the entire month of November 2018 on Twitch. Pluto TV also has its MST3K and Shout! Factory TV channels, while XUMO has a Shout! Factory TV channel in the US. The Pluto TV linear streams don’t mimic the Twitch stream, yet Pluto TV and Twitch is available in Canada, while XUMO currently isn’t. Nevertheless, there’s more room in the world than ever for a human and robots heckling B-films just to survive mind experiments.

The Toronto Santa Claus Parade broadcast airs and streams Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 4:30 PM ET/PT (5:30 PM AT) on CTV. This is the Santa Claus Parade’s ninth year on CTV after airing on CBC Television from 1952-81, and on Global from 1982-2009. The 114th edition of the annual parade begins in Toronto, Ontario 12:30 PM ET at Christie Pits, and ends at St. Lawrence Market.

This is the first time an official commercial for the Santa Claus Parade’s ninety-minute special appears on CTV’s YouTube platform, as CTV only established its YouTube account for entertainment promotion earlier in 2018. Johnny Orlando, Serena Ryder, Tyler Shaw, and The Tenors are lined up for the broadcast. CTV retains rights to the Santa Claus Parade broadcast for at least another few years, so it’s one of the first markers that the Christmas television season is out in full force. Now go buy things.
